Co-founder of Another Day, a design practice partnering with small teams and ambitious people. I also helped start First Steps, a mentorship program for designers finding their way.

Before that, I led design teams at Goodform, Northstar, and Fieldwork.

I’ve been fortunate to collaborate as a designer, advisor, and occasionally an optimist with teams including Harbor, Morrow, Commonplace, Daybreak, Tandem, Paperplane, and many more.

The best work often starts with paying attention. For this experiment, I stepped away from the obvious solution and tried something smaller. A few conversations, a rough prototype, and one careful revision made all the difference.

My takeaway: leave enough room in the process to notice what is already working. Then make that part a little clearer.
